|Recommended: YesA great building — The apartment build quality is great, and the floorplan and fixtures accommodate my life fairly well.
I appreciate that the on-site property staff Corrynne is always available for any small things that come up on my way in or out. In small interactions I’ve seen, she gives care and consideration to every resident, beyond what’s required or even expected.
A few residents have complained about noise. While I notice it myself, I’m not usually very bothered. This is something I expect living in a building with others, however I suspect it might be related to cabinet doors closing. I don’t think there’s enough sound dampening for cabinet doors and kitchen drawers. Sometimes it feels like the building shakes from some loud sounds, but I’m not sure I’ve been able to pinpoint what it is.
Maintenance staff has responded to requests within a day, which is terrific. Leo changed my heat-lamp bulb less than a day after my request
Things I wish for, but don’t expect to be changed
• Better sound dampening for cabinet doors installed in all units, preferably with slow-close doors and drawers.
• Light fixtures especially the overhead kitchen light fixtures that accommodate my own bulbs. I’d like to control the color temperature and brightness. It’s really important for me to control the lighting conditions inside my home.
• More space-efficient air conditioning heating unit. In studio apartments, space is critical. The size and position of the unit in the window area eats up a lot of space and discourages furniture from being placed against the window like a desk or TV stand.
• Significantly more power outlets along the walls in the Community Room. The only outlets seem to be in the kitchen area, which makes it hard to spend time in there while keeping devices charged.
• More vibrant color. The grayish-brown walls may seem to be the least-offensive, but to me, they are extremely bland, even stale. This building the interior, specifically feels a bit dull and the art on the walls feels dated and without character. Portland is quite a bit more wild than this, and I think it’d be great to have more vibrantly-painted walls with more fun and maybe local art. There’s a lot of artists that live in this city and I bet it would mean more to residents and artists in this city to see art that feels like it’s from here. It feels like this building’s interior was designed outside of, and without regard to, Portland.
• I noticed another property Division Street Lofts smells... significantly more pleasant inside. I don’t know what’s going on over there, but it’s very nice and I wish we had that in our building too.
• A community pinboard might be nice too I don’t need to know who my neighbors are. I run into some naturally, but it’d be cool if there was a place maybe in the Community Room where residents can post things. Maybe they’re selling a small piece of furniture or getting rid of it , or make something or offer a service and might find an audience in their own building.

|Recommended: YesGreat Property — I live in a studio and my layout Buckman has more storage and space than most of the other studios I had looked into. I don't really hear my neighbors from any walls around me. I park in the neighborhood and its not too hard to find parking, but sometimes it's a little crowded. The gym is really nice and has a wide variety of equipment. Overall, have had a great experience so far here.

|Recommended: YesThe dishwashers have a buzzer that is too loud. Or my neighbors buzzers are too loud when going off 3am-6am. — It's nice, avoid the bottom floor if possible.

|Recommended: YesLove Tabor View Lofts Unfortunately neighbor is very loud — Tabor View is such an amazing place to live The grounds are very cleanly, it's pet friendly, and the apartments are gorgeous. I love how responsive the staff and maintenance are. Unfortunately, my neighbor is not so considerate with his volume, which is putting a huge damper on my experience here.

|Recommended: YesGood Management — I love the way management actively creates a welcoming and inclusive community. From our monthly newsletters with fun treats and different opportunities for engagement to the new pet of the month section management is always finding new ways to make things fun They also are incredibly timely and get back to emails calls maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
The one downside is the shift in payment processing to only allow for one transaction monthly. This makes it difficult when splitting rent with a roommate.

|Recommended: YesHelpful staff, clean building, modern amenities — Everyone on Tabor View's leasing team has been professional, courteous, and helpful since the day I first toured the property. The common areas and amenities are modern and kept both clean and organized. The apartments come equipped with modern and energy-efficient appliances, including a full size washer and dryer. Underground parking availability was low when I signed my lease, but I think I'd still opt for street parking even if it opened up. I've never had an issue parking in the surrounding area at most a short block away. Other than an upstairs neighbor with a very energetic dog and the dull sounds of the units next to mine running their dishwashers, I very rarely hear any noise from neighbors. Overall, I've loved my experience here.

|Recommended: YesAmazing. Best value for price. — It’s just almost perfect. I love coming home. I love the building. It’s so quiet. I can barely hear my neighbors. The interior of the building is always so clean. The staff at the leasing office are polite. I wish I could live here for as long as possible. Every appliance works and I have never had to make any complaint for repairs or maintenance.
